Want to Visit Whittington
Barrett offers several long-range courses each year at two venues. The premier location is the NRA Whittington Center, located in the foothills of northern New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

With ranges and fickle winds that test the limits of even the “Big Fifty,” the Whittington Center is where the Fifty Caliber Shooters Association holds its World Championships. If you live on the East Coast, taking a course at U.S. Training Center in Moyock, NC, might be a more convenient option. However, only Long Range I is offered there.
Tuition for either three-day course is $1,500 and includes breakfast and lunch each day, range fees and ammo. The latter, if purchased at street prices, accounts for about
half of the fee. You can rent a rifle to use during either course for $200. For more information, contact Barrett at (615) 896-2938 or www.barrett.net.
