- An ambidextrous thumb safety accommodates use by southpaws.
- The Kel-Tec PMR-30’s rear sight is a square notch molded into the polymer slide housing, and it contains two fiber-optic inserts for enhanced visibility. Just forward of the rear sight, the slide assembly is drilled and tapped for mounting a small red-dot optic.
- The PMR-30’s dustcover contains an integral accessory rail that allows shooters to mount a variety of aftermarket lights and laser-aiming devices.
- With a pull weight of less than 4 pounds, the PMR-30’s trigger is well suited for target work and plinking.
- The PMR-30’s heel-type magazine release should reduce the likelihood of an accidental release in the field.
- Even though it’s a full-size pistol, the PMR-30 weighs less than 20 ounces when fully loaded, thanks to its aluminum and Zytel components.
- A fiber-optic insert helps the front sight stand out, but unlike the integral rear notch, it is drift-adjustable for windage.
- Although the innovative design adjusts seamlessly between locked-breech and blowback operation—depending on pressure generated by the load—takedown of the PMR-30 is simple, making post-range cleanup easy.
- As if its 30-round capacity isn’t impressive enough, the PMR-30 ships with two magazines. Carrying one in the gun and one in reserve puts more than a box of .22 WMR at your disposal.
- Chambered in .22 WMR, the handgun has a 30+1 capacity.

Dear Madam or SirL
I need a good user friendly highly accurate and east to use/learn how to use adjustable rear sight for my brand new PMR 30 pistol I bought two weeks ago at the Melbourne Gun show at $545 a full $130 over MSRP. The gun shoots to the left about 2-3 inches at 25 feet which I can adjust by taping the front sight with a wood dowling and small hammer. However, the gun also shoots low about 4-5 inches and I cannot correct this design/configuration screw up nor its significant accuracy performance/flaws with this dumb rear sight design due to the fxed rear sights that come with the gun and with no optional add on adjustable rear sight upgrade available. This is a sin and major design flaw that your product manager should get his ass kicked in for. I mean WTF. The key of a 22 WMR cartridge is its perfect blend of accuracy, long range accuracy, flat trajectory and significant knock down power but without major recoil or report. To not have high quality adjustable rear sights as at leat an optional add on feature is absurd!
So, are there any really good after market makers of a great rear adjustable sight that can easily be mounted to the PMR 30 quickly and easily by the average Joe witout special tools or calibration equipment? Please let me know ASAP! Icarry my gun every day every where I go and must have a highly accurate weapon with sights that “work with and for me”.
Also, does the front sight come in different hights to help with this problem. This simple but effective solution is utilized on my recently acquired Wakther MP 15 pistol and carbine and works perfectly and far beyond my expecttions for weapon of this nature and design intent. You made such a wonderful “breakthrough” 22 WMR pistol with its long over due 30 round magazine but muffed it with cheap shit sights. Come on guys give me a break and call me at home or cell phone . Thanks a million and God bless!
Sincerely,
Kevin F. Evola
You may want to try a laser add on, they make one for the rail, and can be used quite easily.
Bill…
been wateing for that gun
