Beretta hired retired Brigadier General David Grange as its Senior Military Advisor. Gen. Grange was a squadron and deputy commander of Delta Force and the commander of the 75th Ranger Regiment.

Man Card

Posted by EdFriedman2, May 17 2010, 08:56 PM

Today, as we mourn a true man after the untimely passing of Ronnie James Dio, we seek other men to carry the torch. Thankfully, Bushmaster is helping us weed out the men from the panty-waists with its Man Card promotion. Go check it out.

Let’s Not Try to be Like Them

Posted by EdFriedman2, May 10 2010, 01:35 PM

The Brits, that is. In Merry Olde England, if someone is stabbing your mum, you may not force him to stop. This teenager will be charged with murder for stabbing his mother’s assailant. Sounds about right for a nation that has totally lost every shred of self-respect it once had. And yet there are those who want us to emulate Britain.

SIG P226 Gadsden

Posted by EdFriedman2, May 7 2010, 02:53 PM

This is an awesome idea and a great gun. Only 1,776 will be made.

That said, it appears the snake and the “Don’t Tread on Me” on the slide are silkscreened, and you can get the logo etched on aluminum grips for your P226 for $139.95. But then you wouldn’t have one of 1,776 now, would you?

Guns in Mexico

Posted by EdFriedman2, May 5 2010, 05:25 PM

Proof that the guns in Mexico aren’t from the U.S. American shooters wouldn’t be caught with these, shall we say, decadently decorated firearms under any circumstances.

The big question is whether Ferrari will initiate legal action for the unlicensed (I assume) use of its logo by violent drug cartels. It’s a bit of a catch-22. By the looks of the jewels and precious metals with which these guns are bedecked, the cartels are financially a juicy target. But, they aren’t known for responding to criticism in a balanced manner. Quite a conundrum.

Happy cinco de cuatro, as our dear leader would say!

Bloomberg is an Idiot

Posted by EdFriedman2, May 4 2010, 08:50 PM

Mayor Bloomberg had a hunch the failed terrorist attack in Times Square was carried out by “someone with a political agenda that doesn’t like the health care bill or something.” Apart from referring to people with a “that” rather than a “who,” Bloomberg further beclowned himself with his ridiculous hypothesis about the attacker. You see, not 12 hours after the wise mayor accused people opposed to government takeover of the economy of a terrorist act, the Feds arrested an actual terrorist on a flight to Pakistan via Dubai.

I am shocked, shocked! to discover terrorism in Pakistan.

California Imaginary Gun Ban Decision to Come in October

Posted by EdFriedman2, Apr 29 2010, 06:07 PM

The Supreme Court will decide whether California can ban the sale or rental of violent video games to children. They’re rapidly running out of guns to ban in the Golden State, aren’t they?

Funny…nothing about guns on film. Hollywood doesn’t make violent movies, I guess. Or maybe in the minds of immeasurably wise California legislators, it’s okay for Quentin Tarantino to dramatize violence, but us peasants better not even think about guns.

Must Read

Posted by EdFriedman2, Apr 28 2010, 01:47 PM

You must read this. Because if you don’t, the author will pull a single hair from his beard and skewer you through the heart with it. Seriously.

He was in a knife fight once. The knife lost.

He’s counted to infinity. Twice.

So go read it, or he’ll roundhouse kick you in the face and wipe out your entire existence from the space-time continuum.
