Olympic Arms Whitney Wolverine

One of the really great things about NRA Annual Meetings is the number of new items available for members to check out. While most new offerings are announced at SHOT Show, this is often the first time folks have to pick up the latest and greatest.

But while members are walking the Music City Center floor looking at all the new cool things, sometimes they'll pick up something that's been around for a while but they've just never noticed. I was walking the floor with some friends when we passed the Olympic Arms booth. One of the items on display was the Olympic Arms Whitney Wolverine, a recreation of the '50s space-age rimfire pistol.

My friend, a Texas Peace Officer with more time behind the trigger than most folks I know, asked the Olympic Arms representative if it was a new offering from the company. The rep responded that it had been in the company's line for many years, which came as a surprise to my friend.

The true student is always learning, and if you are a fan of firearms and all the interesting permutations thereof, the NRA Annual Meeting is a great place for some hands-on schooling. Even the most learned of students can glean something new from walking the floor.
